Carmelo Anthony definitely wins the award for best eyewear in Denver! He has great taste (both for himself and his wife) and is pictured above wearing his new Leonard frames that he purchased while in town last week for the Knicks vs. Nuggets game. Many thanks to Khalilah!!!

Over the last few months we’ve had the honor of being selected to work with the Attack group at the New York offices of Wieden + Kennedy. At the helm of their operation is Phil Chang, an all around amazing guy. We’ve upgraded Phil’s eyewear game by putting him in Silver Lining 3390. For sunglasses, we put his prescription in a pair of the SLV x OC aviator and sent it out for his favorite mirror, inferno.

Dispelling any myth about thick black glasses being nerdy we present Kurt Rambis. Mr. Rambis played professional basketball (1980-1995) wearing thick black eyeglasses on the court. Winning four NBA championships playing for the Lakers he was nicknamed “Superman” by Chick Hearn in reference to Superman’s alter ego Clark Kent’s eyeglasses.

Wil.i.am bought these Alitalia last week, and Erik sold the Sunjets to Taboo right before their Times Square concert last night. Two peas down, two to go.

Today we were visited by Natasha Cerda. She had recently been photographed for “Inverted Beauty-the Freaks of Nature x LV the stylist” wearing Maison Martin Margiela sunglasses. Those particular Margiela’s feature a very unique bridge design that sits lower down on the nose. Natasha was surprised to find a similar bridge design on a pair of vintage Courreges. Could they have been the inspiration piece for Margiela? Check out more pictures from the inverted beauty shoot on evidentfuture.
