Garrett Leight came to New York for a press tour for his new line GLCO. We were very honored when Garrett contacted us to be his first NYC account. Doing it the Silver Lining way we viewed his beautiful collection at our shop over drinks & pool. The GLCO collection will be available in January. Garrett is a true renaissance man: world traveler, eyewear designer, retail pioneer, and pool shark. Check out his blog for his store in Venice California A. Kinney Court.

We are so pleased to have been picked by American Express to be part of the videos they are shooting to promote New York City’s initiative for Small Business Saturday on November 27th. Here are some behind the scenes shots. The video should be live in under a week on their facebook page.

Director Brendan came to the shoot already perfectly styled in his vintage Ray-Ban Wayfarer II in black!

Thanks to the great photography of our good friend and blogger William Yan, we got an insider’s look of the Levi’s Spring 2011 Presentation. This is the second time we’ve worked with Levi’s and thanks to Leslie Lessin for thinking of us again.

This model is wearing vintage American made glasses by Foremost.

This model is wearing amazing vintage Carreras. Stop by Silver Lining Opticians for either of these styles!
