Gilt MAN Finds: Vintage Sunglasses curated by Silver Lining Vintage
Please enjoy our first collaboration with Gilt.com launching tomorrow at 12:00pm
From the Gilt website:
“When it comes to vintage eyewear, there’s really no greater authority than Jordan Silver of Silver Lining Vintage. In addition to his role as co-owner of the highly regarded SoHo boutique Silver Lining Opticians, the man curates collections for heavy-hitters like Bergdorf Goodman and Barney’s. This selection of unused, vintage picks—all quite rare, and all sharp as hell—comes directly from his personal collection. You’re looking for the coolest frames you can get your hands on? You just found ‘em.”
Backstory
“To say that Jordan Silver—the man behind Silver Lining Vintage—is a vintage eyewear enthusiast is something of an understatement. Silver has been collecting vintage frames for more than ten years, and the man is a well-respected authority on the subject. He’s done extensive work with fashion designers, celebrities, and artists, and four years ago he and licensed optician Erik Sacher opened an acclaimed SoHo boutique, Silver Lining Opticians. Although SLO now serves as the home base for Silver Lining Vintage, Silver still curates collections for everyone from Bergdorf Goodman and Barney’s to Jeffery. Simply put, the man knows his vintage eyewear, and we’re all better for it.”
