Great summer listening at Silver Lining Opticians

Our great friend David Coggins (man about town, writer, critic, Bergdorf Mens creative, and sometime model) was in yesterday working on his vintage Persol collection.  Then this morning in my inbox came the announcement of a trunk show this weekend for another brand he consulted and ultimately modeled for, Boast.

If you find yourself in Nantucket this weekend go check out some of the coolest tennis apparel out there.  Their collection and campaign is amazing.  I also recommend catching up David’s personal blog, Exit Lines.

I saw this great photo of our customer and eyewear aficionado Marc Daniel van Biemen on Google+ today.  Aside from seeing this picture, I don’t really know what Google+ is yet.  Marc is an accomplished violinist and wears vintage Paola Belle aviators!

Originally designed in the 1970s the 853 became known as the Carol when Carol Alt lent her name to the frame in the early 1990s.  We just received stock in various color combinations.  Get them before they run out!
