Erik Sacher, a licensed optician, and Jordan Silver, a vintage eyewear purveyor, proudly invite you to explore Silver Lining Opticians online and in person.

Silver Lining Opticians offers eyewear to the discerning shopper who prefers the highest level of quality and service, and a selection not seen in any other boutique. We are the only store declining to sell any licensed brands which dominate the market.

Our experience is unique—we curate a selection of independent contemporary brands with the largest unused vintage eyewear collection in New York. We fill prescriptions with the highest quality lens products available through the most advanced optical laboratories in the nation.

Among the contemporary brands featured are the timeless shapes from Anglo American Eyewear in London and the current metal collection from Kame ManNen in Japan. Working with factories in Europe and drawing on our vast vintage for inspiration, we have launched our own eponymous line.

Our vintage ranges from iconic styles made famous by stars like Steve McQueen and Audrey Hepburn to a constantly growing collection of individual pieces from hundreds of brands from the 1960s through 1980s. We continue to wholesale our vintage collection to some of the world’s most exclusive stores.
