One of my favorite designers of all time is Alain Mikli.  From his beginnings as a designer for other companies to his current collaborations with Starck, Mikli has always been an innovator.  He has developed many things along the way including new hinges and new materials.

My favorite period in his career has to be the mid 1980s.  His eponymous brand was using brightly colored acetates and rethinking the rules of eyewear design.

This design is particularly cool because of the triple bridge, not single, not double, but triple.

We supplied all the eyewear for this seasons Band of Outsiders presentation. Kirsten Dunst featured as one of the characters in the presentation looked amazing in this band of outsiders skirt which she wore at the event.
