Computer Glasses?

This USB Drive in the shape of eyeglasses gives new meaning to the term computer glasses.  I picked up on these from our good friends over at EyeHeartGlasses.  Its so cool as a design project, but if they were wearable I fear that you might end up looking like Dog the Bount Hunter with the headphones connected to his glasses.

Brad Pitt shows off his Courreges

I know the Golden Globes were a few weeks ago, but the aviators that Brad Pitt wore have been newsworthy since their design in the mid 1970s.

And the Eyewear Oscar goes to…

Gabe Bell of Refinery29 wrote a great article you should all checkout about the fashion and style of this years Oscar nominees.  Check out the full artice here .

I am particularly fond of Milk for the great glasses that Emile Hirsch sports.  The single bridge aviators are hot.  The have a super tiny bridge reminiscent of old shooting glasses.

Dee and Ricky at Silver Lining

I don’t often let people touch my Silhouette’s much less try them on.  But I had to make an exception the other night for the young men about town, Dee and Ricky.  They came to the shop, had a couple drinks… we talked shades, lego brooches, and music.  They do look pretty amazing in the Futura collection.  I see a collaboration in the future.

We can only try to achieve this level of cool… At least I’m not alone in my quest.

French Skier and President?

I love the trickle of photos coming out of Obama’s life.  These photos from the Huffington Post show him in a great pair of what look to me like 1970s french ski glasses.  The most famous manufacturer of this style was Cebe.  And yes, we do have them in stock.  Get the Obama look!
