Natou the Queen of High Prescription Fetish

I had read an article in an optical journal about the fetish of being attracted to people wearing very high prescription lenses in eyeglasses.  They had a photo of this girl named Natou. Natou I discovered has a series of videos on Youtube dedicated to this fetish. Does this turn you on?

Eyeglass Icon: The “Reggie Bar”

Baseball hall of famer Reggie Jackson also known as “Mr. October” for his clutch hitting in the postseason won five World Series titles. Before he joined the New York Yankees in 1977, Reggie Jackson boasted “If  I played for New York they’d name a candy bar after me”.  The Curtiss Candy Company fulfilled this prophesy in 1978. The “Reggie Bar” a circular bar of peanuts dipped in caramel and covered with chocolate featured an image of Reggie Jackson hitting a home-run wearing his trademark gold aviator eyeglasses. Although the “Reggie Bar” was discontinued when Reggie Jackson retired, the gold aviators can still be found at Silver Lining.

What is AR ?

One of the most asked questions at the shop is “what is AR” ? AR stands for Anti-Reflection coating. This is an optical coating applied to the surface of a lens to reduce reflection. This greatly improves the optics of the lens. Simply put your eyeglasses work better. You also will look much better with AR lenses in your eyeglasses. This is because you can see the wearers eyes through the lens especially when being photographed. Invented in 1935 by the Carl Zeiss Optics Company. The first Anti-Reflection coatings were a military secret during World War II. No longer a secret AR coated lenses are recommended.

Hey, Hey, Hey, an Unlikely Source of Inspiration

After a busy fashion week I was catching up on my WWD when I spotted this photo from the Narciso Rodriguez show. I couldn’t help but think of Dumb Donald from the “Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids” cartoon show from the 70s. I wonder if the hat can be fitted with prescription lenses?
