Recently restocked one of our best selling mens eyeglass shapes from Hamburg Eyewear along with some new styles never seen in New York. Stop on by.
Ruby Dee, actress and activist for over half a century pictured below in some amazing frames and sunglasses. They look amazing on her.

Long time customer and friend Steve Stoute brought Rihanna to Silver Lining last Thursday. Amid a swarm of paparazzi, Rihanna shopped in the back, behind the closed curtain and made some amazing selections for her trip to London.
Rihanna leaving Silver Lining Opticians (with her security carrying our blue tray of frames).
Rihanna, arriving six hours later at Heathrow airport in London still clutching her tray of sunglasses.
Zinna, our friend from way back, has been kind enough to enhance our shop with some of his beautiful floral designs from time to time. Today was one of those days. Check out today’s arrangement below. If you don’t see Zinna spinning by you on his bike (usually overloaded with fresh flowers), you can contact us for his information. Above, Zinna is wearing a vintage Persol 301 with a custom green lens.

PEGLEG NYC designer Harry McNally doing some Canal street shopping in his custom RVS by V sunglasses.
