After freshening up his vintage eyewear collection (and adding some Silver Lining Brand frames to the collection too), Mr. Wade jetted across the street for some basketball with the neighborhood kids.

We think Steve McQeen would be extremely proud of Jay-Z’s style these days. Fatherhood seems to suit Mr. Carter well. Seen here on a recent weekend away in St. Barths, Jay pulls off the nautical stripes, the AP Royal Oak Offshore (Steve would have been wearing Rolex), and the Persol Ratti 649 (from Silver Lining of course)–the modern day Steve McQueen? Maybe. He’s pretty damn cool.

For any one looking for clothes for before during and after pregnancy with style, look no further, Hatch has arrived. We are honored to be part of their photo-shoot and so happy with the images that came out of it.

The Hatch Coat featuring Silver Lining Opticians Model Aluminum in Matte Olive

Vintage sunglasses grace the faces of these Hatch models. On the left is vintage Serengeti, and on the right vintage Persol.

It was a real pleasure for us to spend sometime with the lovely ladies from L.A. Eyeworks. Their stories of the early days of their company were truly inspirational. They were kind enough to send us a signed copy of their book Framed. The book features an amazing retrospective of celebrities shot by Greg Gorman from their iconic ad campaign. Get yours here.
